The fabric is high-density heavy weight corduroy woven using old-fashioned looms at a historic weaving shop in the Enshu region. The corduroy has a sturdy texture with good ridges, and you can feel the luster and smooth pile.
Washing tightens the ridges and creates a ridged look that resembles a tall mountain.
This is a piece of clothing that you can wear and wash repeatedly and enjoy changing over time.
