We made ``Patchwork Denim Pants'' to commemorate our store's 11th anniversary.
First, I dismantled dozens of used denim pants (Levis 501).
It starts with making a single piece of patchwork fabric.
Even disassembling old clothes one by one is a time-consuming process, but from there, the disassembled denim is sorted by shade and size, and when it is made into pants, each piece has a well-balanced shade and patchwork size. Finish the dough while simulating it in your head so that it appears.
At that time, we also specify the vertical and horizontal dimensions of the patchwork fabric that will serve as the base, and we then work out the final image.
(If you just connect the fabrics together, the color and size of the patchwork will be uneven and the design will be poor.)
The base of the silhouette is Levi's 501, the classic denim pants.
The base around the waist is made of 501, and the crotch part has a patchwork design.
Patchwork pants, which are common, are usually printed, and the crotch part has thick, overlapping fabric, making it three-dimensional, so applying patchwork takes time and increases costs.
Therefore, in order to keep costs down, patchwork is often done from the crotch, but at our store, we prioritize perfection and use patchwork from the crotch.
Also, since it is not a print, you can enjoy the discoloration (change over time) in each area.
As an accent, an ear (line) is added near the center.
Every time you wear it or wash it, the threads come undone and you can enjoy the texture of old clothes.

The string can be adjusted, so more people can use it.
Literally, ``the only pair of denim pants in the world'' has been completed.
